In 1998 I started learning to paint with watercolors (after having been a graphic designer, illustrator, copy writer, key-line & paste-up and layout artist.)
From 2000-2010 I have entered and been accepted into numerous juried national and international watermedia shows including the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the Rocky Mountain National, the California Watercolor Society, the Texas Watercolor Society, the North East Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, the Louisiana Watercolor Society, the Kansas Watercolor Society, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, The North West Watercolor Society, the Missouri Watercolor Society and many more.
I have been awarded “Signature Membership” in 11 national watercolor societies and have won several awards.
Locally I’ve shown my work, to name a few, at the Haydon Gallery, Gallery 9, Union College, Wesleyan College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Nebraska Heart Institute, the Nebraska State Fair, the Unitarian Church and the Lincoln Artists’ Guild.
